Contact

Tell me what you've inherited.

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong. You don't need documentation or organised code. If an old PHP application has become important, expensive, risky or difficult to understand, that's enough to start a conversation.

The first conversation is free, with no obligation.

What's helpful to tell me

Don't worry if you only know some of this. Whatever you have is fine.

  • What the application does and who depends on it
  • What's wrong, or what you're worried about
  • Roughly how old it is and who built it
  • PHP version and framework, if you know. If not, say so
  • Where it's hosted
  • Any deadlines, such as a host dropping PHP, a renewal or an audit
  • Whether it's urgent
  • If you're an agency: which client system, and what you'd like help with

Please don't send passwords, credentials or personal data through the form or by email. We'll agree a secure way to share access if we go ahead. How I handle access

What happens next

  1. I'll reply within one working day
  2. We talk. A short call to understand the system and the problem
  3. I'll tell you honestly whether and how I can help. If I'm not the right person, I'll say so
  4. If it makes sense, I'll propose a fixed-price Legacy System Assessment, from £2,500, or a direct fix for a clearly defined problem

Prices are published, so there are no surprises: Pricing
